Explore District Six Museum which houses an impressive collection of historical materials. Next stop is at V&A Waterfront where you’ll take a Ferry to Robben Island and visit Nelson Mandela’s cell and hear what life was like for him and the other prisoners there. After this tour we head back to Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for lunch (own expense). Thereafter we visit Bokaap one of Cape Town’s most distinct neighborhoods known for its brightly coloured houses and cobbled streets. Visit Gugu S’thebe Arts & Culture Centre where you will learn how to play the African drum. Visitors will meet local residents and may try local dishes, African beer tasting and explore this vibrant township where there is an unbelievable spirit of entrepreneurship. You will be accompanied by your tour guide throughout the tour.
